We were already unhappy about finding a used condom on the sink counter. It made us seriously question the cleaning protocol and hygiene at the place. There wasn't any tissue in our bathroom either, so we told the staff. They said we could go downstairs and ask the lobby for it ourselves instead of bringing it up. That seems strange for a hospitality business.

At just $13, you get a spacious, clean room with a refrigerator, so it's great value for an overnight stop. I only wish the hotel accepted pets, since that would bring in a lot more guests. If you're a foreign tourist arriving from the winter and hoping to visit the seaside without a car, this probably isn't the best choice. It's better suited to people in Surat Thani for business.

I was here from February 16 to 19, 2025, and the location was about 2km from the city center. The surrounding area felt similar to a slum. For a similar price, I'd choose a good hotel in the center. There were two towels in my room for the three days. When I asked for one more, the host's unkind daughter wouldn't give me one, and I only got it after asking the host directly. After that, the host's friends living directly above my room kept making noise between floors all night for all three days. Also, after a shower, the bathroom drain took about five minutes to clear.

Good value for a fair price, and the receptionist was friendly.

Breakfast was disappointing, just tea and coffee, a little toast, and something that looked like marmalade. The room was clean in a new building, with nice air conditioning and everything otherwise well done. There was no toilet paper, though, and the fridge wasn't plugged in. Fine for a night or two.
