We found getting around convenient, and the place was comfortable to stay in. The owner and staff were kind, and the toilets and bedrooms were clean. You can also rent bicycles. The owner even rode with us to places where we could see everyday life in southern Thailand. It's not far from Phuket, so I'd highly recommend stopping by if you're heading there.

Guests get a bicycle when they check in, a nice way to explore Takua Pa and its quiet local life. The town is set among mountains and rubber plantations, with scenic cycling routes through the area. Bike Cycle Hostel is opposite the Takua Pa Bus Terminal, and offers budget rooms with breakfast, Wi-Fi, and bikes. There are several styles to choose from: mixed dorms for meeting people, female dorms for more privacy, and Roof Top rooms for couples or anyone wanting their own space. It's a new place and the first accommodation in Takua Pa aimed at travelers interested in local culture, nature, and everyday life. If a slower pace appeals to you, come experience what feels like Thailand's slowest town.
