Casacool Hotel Khoalak

We had a great four nights here, but the hotel was fully booked after 22nd December, so we couldn't stay longer. It was quiet and close to the night market. The room photos are accurate, but the rooms are even better than they show. Breakfast was amazing, and laundry is free for guests. The staff are really friendly and offer to take guests to different beaches. Kai, who runs the place, said they do it because guests have come a long way, so taking them a little further to enjoy other beaches is just what they do. Wonderful hotel, staff, breakfast, and service. I regret not being able to stay longer.

The staff work hard to make you feel at home and are very accommodating. Kai is lovely to chat with, and even gave me rides around town. The place is tucked away in a corner with cute, colourful houses, not far from the attractions but shielded from noise. I woke to the sounds of nature. I had a room on the top floor, which I liked because there wasn't much foot traffic or many neighbouring rooms. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The room was a vibrant teal colour, great for relaxing after a day out, and had useful amenities including a large fridge. The balcony was very large too. Breakfast was yummy, with a generous amount of fresh fruit. I really enjoyed staying here, everything was top notch, and I'd definitely recommend it.

In my 23 days in Thailand, this was my best accommodation. I spent five days at casacool, and everything was more than excellent. The women welcomed me with genuine smiles and made me feel at home. One employee's daughter was so sweet, and we played a lot during my stay. My room was comfortable, clean, and quiet at night, with a balcony where I could sit in the evenings. Breakfast was amazing, with a plate of fruit each day, even though I'd said half would be enough. There were also eggs made how you like them, bread, cakes, yogurts, cereals, and more. They even leave bananas at reception for guests to take for free. The location is excellent, near the night market and about a 15-minute walk from the beach, in what I found to be the more authentic part of Khao Lak. When I wanted to visit the national park and its small sandy beach, I couldn't find a taxi, which is really difficult in Khao Lak. Viviane kindly drove me there and picked me up afterwards. Everyone did so much to look after guests.

We spent six nights at Casacool Hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. It's next to the night market and main street, with the beach a ten-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. The staff were really nice and even offered to wash and dry our laundry for free. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to your choice. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for everything.
