Khaolak Suthawan Resort

The manager and staff were wonderful. Rent a scooter and you can enjoy Khao Lak’s beautiful beaches, lively markets, and incredible food.

A very helpful couple run this lovely place. Our room, 106, was large and comfortable, and cleaned every day. The small pool was spotless and great for cooling off. Breakfast was good, with fruit, toast, eggs made to order, tea, coffee, and orange juice. You can hire a motorbike, which I think you’ll need since the nearest restaurants by the beach are a 2 km walk away.

The owners were kind throughout, and the service was commendable. The resort is set away from the main street, making it a peaceful place away from large crowds and busy party areas. The room exceeded my expectations: clean, spacious, and equipped with the essentials for an overnight stay.

We’d stay here again if we return, and only wish we could have stayed longer. The owners and staff at Suthawan resort were so welcoming and friendly. We wanted a simple place in Khao Lak, and it was just right. Our room had a big fridge, good shower pressure, and was cleaned to a very high standard every day. Breakfast was included. It was simple but very nice, with fried eggs, toast, fresh fruit, hot dog sausage, and ham. The resort is in the village, so you need a scooter or taxis, as we knew beforehand. You can walk 20 minutes to a really nice beach and its restaurants and bars. There’s also a new cafe across the road with European bread and nice iced coffee, plus very Thai local restaurants in the nearby streets. We liked Wan, with its tasty food. Thanks for a lovely stay!
