We really wanted a room by the lake, and that's exactly what we got. It felt private, and we even took a boat trip in the evening. The staff, manager, and owner were all very helpful, with excellent service, and breakfast was great. We were impressed and would highly recommend it as one of the best places to stay in Kanchanaburi.

The people were kind and the service was great, but the room was smaller than expected and wasn't the one we had booked. We had chosen a room with a beautiful view, only to find it blocked by a fun water attraction. Getting in wasn't reassuring either: the entrance looked rough, the planks wobbled underfoot like you could fall, and there were loads of bugs. The water was so cloudy you couldn't see through it. Photos from years ago looked better, so sadly this was a bad stay for us.

A good budget resort with a great view. The staff were really helpful, and rafting on the water was a nice experience.

The rooms and resort could use some refurbishing.
