The room change took hours and came only after we booked a deluxe room ourselves, despite being told several times that nothing was available. We paid about €230 for it. Earlier, the hotel had said it was full but offered an upgrade for €150 per night. We arrived after a 17-hour journey and were put in a ground-floor room facing the parking area. Cars were only 30-40 cm from the window, and their headlights lit up the room whenever they arrived. Traffic from the busy road nearby carried on all night, with no sound insulation. Even noise-cancelling headphones didn't make sleep possible. We asked to move right away. At around 1:30 am, after another sleepless night, we found the deluxe room listed online. Reception still said there were no rooms, but after we booked it, one suddenly became available. We got the keys at 2:00 am and managed to sleep for half the night, until breakfast. Then we found ants, blood stains on the mattress, and a broken fridge. The evening reception staff had to clean the room themselves because housekeeping wasn't there. Breakfast was very poor in both quality and choice. The manager seemed incompetent and acted as if there wasn't a problem. We left exhausted and stressed, having spent hours trying to sort things out instead of enjoying our holiday.

I ended up upgrading from a standard room to a villa on the second day, because the villa was so lovely. It was spacious and spotless, and the breakfast was excellent. The pool quickly became my favorite place to hang out. The hotel was new, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. It's a bit far from the beach, but the free shuttle made getting around easy. Such a warm, happy stay. I'd definitely return.

We stayed for six nights, and the pool and bar were great. The pool was always clean and a perfect temperature, and the drinks were delicious. The room was a little small and there wasn't much space for luggage, but it was clean, new, and had everything we needed. The bathroom had privacy blinds between it and the main room, which suited us as a couple. Haris and Gsa were especially lovely, if I've got their names right. Our room safe had a problem, and the staff fixed it straight away. Reception is staffed 24/7, which was handy when we arrived late and if you need anything at night. Breakfast was pretty good, especially the fresh fruit and scrambled eggs. You'll probably want a scooter or car here, since it can feel secluded without one. Grab cars were a bit hard to find, but Grab scooters were easy. There's a 7 Eleven right across the road, with everything you might need. Try the toasties. We didn't use the fitness centre, but it looked new, nice, and popular, with lots of equipment.

The road between the beach and hotel is about a 20-minute walk, but it's long, uncomfortable, and could be unsafe. With major construction nearby, the route is crowded with vehicles, especially large ones, and there's no support for people with average mobility. If you plan to stay at the hotel and enjoy its modern amenities without going to the beach often, it may suit you. Just keep this in mind if you want to walk or miss the transfer car.
