The staff were lovely and polite, and the rooms were clean apart from the bugs. The pool area gets plenty of visitors from the coffee and flower shop, so it didn’t feel reserved for hotel guests. The café seems to be an Instagram spot, with people taking lots of pictures around the shop, pool, and their coffees. Our first-floor room had a serious ant problem. They came through both the front and balcony doors, and there were ants all over the shower and behind the toilet seat. We got bug spray from reception and spent about an hour clearing them before we could even think about showering. There were also leftovers from the previous customer in the fridge. A little lizard could get in through a hole in the wall by the AC. It was loud at night, with lizards, crickets, barking and howling dogs, and stray cats around the hotel. The staff put out sausages for the cats and dogs. We didn’t sleep well. The hotel is 30-40 minutes from the beach and at least ten minutes from a 7-Eleven.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, and pets are welcome. It’s a peaceful place with a Bali feel. There’s a good gym eight minutes away, and Bang Tao Beach and Banana Beach are about 15 minutes away by bike. The room has a quality washer and dryer, plus strong air conditioning.

The housekeeper was friendly and professional, but this stay was a letdown. The property is advertised as new, yet it felt dated, poorly managed, and misleadingly described. There was constant noise from neighboring villas and construction workers, and I found ants and cockroaches in the room. My Suite Pool Room cost significantly more, but it didn’t have its own pool. It only looked toward the shared pool, and trees blocked most of that view. The suite was physically large but mostly empty, wasted space. A door inside had a sign threatening a 10,000 THB fine per day if opened, something nobody mentioned at check-in. It felt incredibly unwelcoming. The room had a washing machine, not a dishwasher, and a microwave, but no utensils, kettle, coffee, or tea. There was no hand soap or hair dryer either. Most of the furniture was flimsy plastic, more like budget dorm furniture than a suite. The shower pressure was weak, and the holder couldn’t support the showerhead. There’s no elevator, so you have to carry bags upstairs or rely on staff. The place uses physical keys, and the TV had no channels or antenna, so it was useless unless you had your own Netflix or Prime login. There’s little nearby, so you’ll need to order food or go elsewhere. The café on site doesn’t serve proper meals. For digital nomads, there’s no desk in the room. The only tables are in the café or lobby, which isn’t a workable professional setup. I’d avoid it.

Rooms are clean, the beds are really comfy, and they clean every day. The pool is amazing. It’s a calm, private place to stay in Bang Tao, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Having a bike makes it easy to get around. Definitely recommend!
