The pool, set among trees with plenty of daybeds, was a really relaxing spot. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s close to the beach and Boat Ave, with its restaurants and shops, and Maya and cafe del mar are only about 700 metres away, as is bang Tao beach. Host Yee and his family were so thoughtful and did a lot to make the stay comfortable. I loved being here and will definitely come back.

The location worked really well, with several nice beach clubs nearby. The staff were so attentive that they even moved me to an upgraded room, which was very kind. I’d happily return if I get the chance.

There’s a tops store within walking distance, and the location suited me well for a one-night stay. I slept fine. The room was a good size, but there isn’t much else here, and it didn’t really feel like a hotel. The pool was green, so I couldn’t use it.

I ended up leaving after about an hour because I was so uncomfortable. I found another hotel and couldn’t get my money back, as Mr Ye wouldn’t refund the full amount. I don’t have allergies, but I started sneezing and got a stuffy nose as soon as I went inside. The place doesn’t feel like a resort at all. There’s no bar or lobby, and I had to stand around until Mr. Ye showed up. It’s tucked away, and the property looks very run down and far older than the photos suggest, maybe 15 years or more out of date. He offered to move me to a smaller room by the pool. That one smelled of mildew, and so did the original room, which was worse. The kitchen is outside and uninsulated, with mosquitos everywhere, so I had to keep the room door closed. The room itself was humid and had mosquitos too, and maybe fleas. I sprayed repellent but still got bitten by something. There were stains on the couch, floor, and walls. I was afraid to check the bed, which looked hard. The photos are misleading. Do not book.
