We spent a month here and had a really good stay. The apartment was comfortable, cozy, and nice to be in. It had what we needed, from a hair dryer to a kitchen with a gas stove and cookware. We barely needed the air conditioning, since opening the windows let the breeze move through the room. Getting around was easy. Surin Beach, which we thought was the best beach on the island, was about 10 minutes away by motorbike. TescoLotus was around a 10-minute walk, and a Super Cheap store and fuel station were 5-8 minutes away on foot, handy when using a motorbike or car. The hostess rented us a motorbike and brought it right to the house, then picked it up there. A very nice person who works with the apartment owner met us at the airport. We got there quickly, and he helped with our luggage and showed us around. There’s also a laundry place very close by on the street, where it cost 20 baht to wash clothes and bed linen. McDonald's is nearby too, though we didn’t go there because there are lots of tasty Thai food options at nearby cafés. The gas cylinder ran out during our stay. We contacted Aree, and a replacement was brought and installed very quickly. She handled all our questions quickly and well. She’s a lovely person, and we’d be happy to return.
