Beachfront Bliss at Naiyang by ALPHATEL

Naiyang is a charming little beach town about a 10 minute walk down the beach, with a quiet, quaint seaside village feel and great local restaurants and cafes. The property itself is fantastic, and the units are very comfortable.

In July 2019, this was only a sales office, and construction earthworks for the new development were still underway.

The apartment was modern, with a lovely beach view, and we could watch planes taking off and landing in the distance from the balcony. We were allowed to check in a bit early after contacting the staff. The bathroom was very modern, and although the two bedrooms were cozy, they were small enough that we couldn't open our suitcases there, so we kept them in the living area. The kitchen cupboards were nearly empty: just one pot, one pan, and three small bowls for four people. Some more basic kitchenware would've helped. The beach is a short walk away, and the area is quiet and secluded, though it gets busier farther along the beach. We hadn't realized beforehand that most of the complex was still a huge construction site, with only a few apartments finished. The construction itself wasn't a problem, but workers were outside our windows all day and building materials were scattered along the way to the entrance. The entrance is at the top of a steep hill, so you need to be reasonably fit. Driving up is difficult too, since the access road is so steep that many cars bottom out. Despite all that construction, it's a nice apartment, but we really should've been told about the work in progress.
