The Black Turtle was a handy base for seeing Phuket, with a mall just a few blocks away and plenty of attractions nearby. We stayed several days on our Thailand trip, and the new, modern room was clean and had what we needed. Being above the cafe was really convenient too. They serve huge croissants, plus coffee, espresso, tea, and lattes, and the cafe has some striking photos from a recent show. I’d gladly recommend staying here.

Whenever I’m heading to bangtao, this is my favorite place to stop. It’s such a lovely, relaxing spot, and I really like the coffee. The staff are friendly, and the owner is great. She knows a lot about Phuket and Thailand and is genuinely helpful to visitors 😍💜

The mango sticky rice tea was fantastic! I felt comfortable here thanks to the friendly staff, and it’s a nice place with good coffee in a nice location.
