Charming 2bd in Laguna SkyPark Apartment

I regretted booking Apartment No. 1714 on the 7th floor of Sky Lagoon Building. We booked through the Booking app, and while the pictures looked good, the place didn’t match them. The rooms were very small and had no soundproofing. There was no drinking water, tissues, or hospitality. The washing machine was dirty, with an old dirty towel inside, and it didn’t work when I tried it. When I called the woman handling the booking, she didn’t offer help. She said she’d compensate us 500 baht when we left, then refused to pay it. Her WhatsApp messages were very bad in tone. She didn’t respect the guests and kept frightening us with fines if we lost towels or the apartment entry card. I had to contact her, and she also called to repeat this. I don’t think she’s suited to this job; she should be replaced by a polite girl who speaks respectfully and helps guests. She’s manipulative, and I don’t recommend dealing with her. Anyone who books with her will see what I mean and won’t find respect.

After parking for five minutes, they blocked my car and said I had to pay 1000 thb.

I booked a second-floor apartment through Banyan Living Host by Lifestyle Services. On my first day, I messaged them to ask if the noise volume could be lowered or changed, but got no reply. The rooms to avoid are 1208, 1209, 1210, 1218, 1219, and 1220, near the elevator on the second floor. There’s no ceiling between the first and second floors there, so the elevator entrance is below. When the door opens, it makes a horrible, piercing squeak until it closes. It seems designed to make guests close the door behind them, but you can hear the beep in your room all day, every 20-40 seconds or even more often as people pass. Nothing drowns it out. I’ve stayed on different floors and rented from different operators, in places of 29 and 36 sq m. The 29 sq m bedroom is tiny, with the bed taking up all the space. The 36 sq m unit is more spacious, but the kitchenette is very small. The layout isn’t well thought out. I stayed in the NBC apartment, which had a much more convenient kitchen and a washing machine despite being the same size, though the sofa here is more comfortable. They don’t care because there are plenty of tourists. I paid, and I’m free. They say it’s a third-world country for a reason, and things unheard of in civilized countries are normal there.
