You can walk to the airport terminal in under 10 minutes, so the location is great if you need to stay nearby. For €30 a night, one night before a flight was passable, but I wouldn’t stay longer. Booking.com’s four-star rating feels misleading to me, as this was more like a two-star experience. We knew from earlier reviews that early check-in costs 100 Baht per hour, even when the room is already ready, but it still seems like a negative. Staff spoke little or no English, and made no effort to help with check-in. When we came back in the evening to collect our luggage, no one checked anything, so anyone could have taken it. In the room, a dirty glass had been wrapped as if it were clean, and it was so noisy that sleeping was nearly impossible because we could hear everything outside. The bathroom had no shower screen, so the floor got wet after every shower.

The customer service was very poor, and the receptionist was rude. The room was awful, full of mosquitoes and bugs. The sheets were covered in hair and looked like they hadn’t been washed after the previous guests. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It’s close to the airport, but the service needs a lot of improvement. The woman at reception had very poor customer service. The room looked acceptable at first, though most of the furniture was damaged or broken, and the shower head leaked. There was an unpleasant smell that stayed throughout our visit, and I noticed a stain in the toilet. We had a ground-floor room with almost no privacy, so we had to keep the blinds closed while people walked past and hung towels and linens outside our window. It was noisy too, next to a water pump station. There was no city or garden view, just laundry hanging up and parked cars. The TV had no satellite channels and the cable was broken. A kettle was provided, but no tea, coffee or sugar, and there was no coffee machine or maker. Despite being advertised, the room had neither an iron nor a hair dryer.

A short walk from the airport, in a fairly new place. Big bed, smart TV, kettle, bar fridge, balcony and free Wi-Fi. Great value, and I’d stay again. There’s no shower screen, but that’s the Thai way.
