Dee Homestay

After a long journey, check-in was easy, and the room was spacious, clean, and cooled down really well. The shower pressure was good too, and the service was great. I was staying at Dee’s through the volunteer program with Phuket Elephant Sanctuary and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. I couldn’t fit in a visit to the cafe, but other guests had great things to say about the food, especially the cheesecake.

I was there for three weeks and thought it was great value. The rooms were big and clean, and the staff were wonderful. I also had several lunches at the cafe, which was very good.

We could not get a Grab to take us to the pier, so the helpful staff arranged a ride for us. Their cafe was good too, both the coffee and food. We stayed just one night, and the room looked very nice and was clean. Our only issue was the noise. We had the room nearest the road, and with thin walls and windows that weren’t soundproofed, we heard everything going past. The road stayed busy even at night.

The host was friendly, and the room had plenty of space and a balcony. The shower had both hot and cold water with a strong flow. There’s a spa and cafe on site, and parking too, though spaces are limited. I love this place.
