GRAND VIEW Residences Villa with Pool

The villa is roomy and comfortable, and it's new. There's a coffee shop just steps away. Restaurants and shops are about a 10-minute drive, and Patong is around 40 minutes away. Still, a few things really got in the way. We came back one evening after a long day out and found there was no water, so we couldn't shower or use the toilets until it was fixed the next morning. We also had a bedroom door lock us out, with no key or spare available, even from management. We had to wait until the next day for it to be sorted, and slept in the living room without access to our clothes and belongings. The team's response was slow and disrupted our plans. The electricity bill also seemed unusually high compared with other villas I've booked in Phuket. We were out most of the day, switched off the AC when we left, turned things off, and kept the windows shut while using AC, but it still came to around 1000 baht a day. The space itself is nice, but the high power costs and management issues affected our stay.
