Maikhao Home Garden Bungalow

Our bungalow was lovely and clean, and the owners are so sweet. The pad krapow was the best. It's a little far from everything else, but you can easily get a Bolt taxi if you'd rather not rent a bike. There are also some really nice neighborhood restaurants, about a 20-minute walk away.

Pairat was such a great host, always happy to chat. He helped us arrange scooters and get our laundry done, and even lent me his snorkelling mask. I ended up losing it in the water, and I'm still very sorry about that, Pairat. He wouldn't accept our offers to replace it. This is a family-run business with a level of kindness and service you don't come across every day. I highly recommend it for the location and the staff.

The Maikhao was a pleasant surprise. I only stayed one night on the way to Koh Lanta, but the owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms spacious with good hot water pressure. Everything worked properly. I didn't swim, but the pool looked as spotless as the rest of the property. It's in a very quiet location, so you'll sleep well in a comfortable bed with an effective, quiet AC. Recommended.

We had a great one-night stay at Mai Khao Home Garden Bungalow during our trip to Maikhao Beach in Phuket. The room had everything we needed, the service was excellent, and the receptionists and staff were friendly and attentive. We could get to the beach and the sea, including the airport viewpoint, quickly. The temple was nearby too, and our room was conveniently close to the pool for a quick break. The restaurant was a highlight. The food was delicious, with a good range of dishes and authentic Thai flavors, and the prices were very reasonable. I'd recommend Mai Khao Home Garden Bungalow for its comfortable rooms, helpful service, convenient location, and restaurant. I'd stay here again.
