Naiyang Boutique Resort

It's a pity, because the location near the beach is excellent and the place has a lot of potential. But I wouldn't stay more than one night, especially with a flight the next day. There was noise and light outside all night, and inside the room we found mosquitoes and even cockroaches. The walls had mold, the cushions and sheets were dirty, and the towels were torn. The bed was very hard and there was barely any hot water. With proper upkeep and cleaning, it could be a great place to stay.

A lovely quiet area, suitable for singles, couples or families. The cabins are bright, airy and very clean, and the price is excellent value. It's a ten-minute walk to the beach and just over two kilometres from Phuket Airport. There's an excellent restaurant at the front of the resort and a mini mart next door. Highly recommended.

The room was badly worn and clearly needed refurbishment. With only single-glazed windows beside a busy road, I could hear traffic all night. There were cockroaches in the room too, and by 5am it was unbearable, so I left. I contacted Nayang Boutique Resort afterward and got no follow-up or apology. Very disappointing, and not what I'd expect from somewhere calling itself a “boutique resort.”

The garden was nice, and the food at their restaurant was very, very good. It's 300m to the beach and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. Reception is right by the restaurant, and the same people handle both jobs without any problem.
