I saw the bad reviews and thought I'd add my experience because I don't know why people are saying that. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It's near both the airport and the beach. The room wasn't luxurious, but it covered my basic needs. I booked through Agoda.

We'd already paid and had a reservation, but were left standing in the rain for three hours. Then someone said they no longer rent rooms through Booking, which isn't true. Other guests had the same problem, and an older lady told us it had been happening for two years. Even after payment, they wanted more money. When we saw how dirty the room was, and found books about weapons in the rooms, we decided to give up the money and go somewhere safer. Please don't book!

We didn't stay here, but I wanted to respond to some of the awful reviews. We booked through OYO, which I think is the real culprit. The hotel has no affiliation with OYO or Booking.Com, so despite the hassle, it seems the hotel isn't to blame. Booking directly with the hotel seems like the only way to book with confidence. The lady wasn't rude, just exasperated. They do need to sort things out with the 3rd party search engines, but I did feel sorry for her.

We booked through traveloka and checked in at 10:30pm. The lady at the front desk was lovely and showed us to our room. I'm really not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Our room was clean, the outdoor space was lovely and peaceful, and we made friends with some friendly local cats 🐈

The room was absolutely filthy, the worst accommodation I've ever seen. There were dirty towels, spider webs everywhere and blood on the bed. We changed hotels straight away. When I asked the guy at reception for a refund, he just ignored me and stayed on his phone while I was talking. It's criminal to run a place that vile and disgusting.
