Nu Phuket Airport Residence

I’d read the Google Maps reviews and wasn’t expecting much, but after a few nights here, I had a really nice stay. It was very clean and the customer service was great. The only issue was that the bathroom wasn’t private, though the listing does say that, so it wasn’t a surprise. I’m a light sleeper, and I was surprised that the plane noise didn’t really bother me. Some nights, late arrivals woke me up, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for the hospitality 🙏

The woman and her son, I think, were lovely. I was traveling alone, and they checked on me to see if I’d eaten or needed anything. They helped me find a taxi to Patong and waited with me until it arrived. It’s a quiet area, with planes as the only noise. There’s a 7-11 and a few shops nearby, and the bus stop for anyone volunteering with Soi Dog is a 15-minute walk away. The Google Maps pin takes you to the office, while the actual rooms are a short walk away in a residential area. If you don’t have much luggage, it’s walkable from there. It’s a convenient spot for a late arrival or an early flight. This is a SIMPLE place to rest, and I enjoyed my stay.

We booked on 29/12 for 02/01, and the reservation was confirmed. When I arrived at the residence, he told me he’d cancelled it on 01/01 and said the money had been refunded through booking. I had to find somewhere else at the last minute, and in the end, I never got the money back. I don’t know what else to say.

There was no water in the bathroom right up until checkout. The rooms are tucked down a back alley, and the roads are pretty dark. If you're arriving late and only need somewhere for the night, I wouldn't recommend it. Check that the bathroom water is working before you pay.
