Oceanstone Laguna Bang Tao Apartments

A peaceful place that feels very safe, and well worth the money. The accommodation is comfortable and kept in good shape, with excellent service and a convenient location. I absolutely love everything about it. A perfect place to stay or live. Freehold and leasehold as condominium

The location worked well for walking. There’s a good route to the beach by the boats from Cassia resort, or you can take a nice, safe road and walk there in 12-14 min. Shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants are 14-16 min away. I also liked the rooftop view, the clean swimming pools, the nice receptionist, and the very polite hotel staff. But the room itself was rough. The floors were sticky and dirty, the sofa had burn holes, and the kitchen smelled like a smoking room. Outside, there were very loud electric booths from 2 hotels beside the room.

We had a great stay in this comfortable, clean apartment, near bang tao beach and boat avenue lakefront for EDC Festival. The wifi was ok, and it was easy to communicate with the owner. There’s no cleaning service, so you need to clean up and take out the garbage yourself.

The place was clean and updated, with a nice pool and gym, and the staff were great. Good shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and many were open during COVID. The balconies look lovely, but the air conditioners are kept out there. When the AC is running, hot air blows onto you and the units are very loud. We only used the balcony to dry clothes. Noise is the other issue. The doors and walls are thin, so we could hear neighbors talking, playing music, and handling dishes, as well as every word in the hallway. There weren’t many tenants while we were there, and I’m not sure we’d have stayed if the building had been full. It’s a good place if noise doesn’t bother you. With soundproof rooms and ACs on the wall, it would be a ten out of ten.
