At checkout, they suddenly accused me of taking a towel, which I would never do. I offered several times to have them look through my luggage so we could clear up the misunderstanding, but they wouldn’t listen or meet me halfway. The staff were rude and dismissive, and the way they handled it left me feeling humiliated and powerless. They escalated things instead of calmly sorting them out, with no regard for my dignity. The service during the stay was disappointing too, with poor communication, unfriendly staff, and little attention to detail. I’ve never been treated so badly at an establishment. It ruined what should have been an enjoyable trip, and I strongly advise people to avoid this place if they expect basic respect and customer service.

The room itself was clean, but the staff weren’t friendly. We arrived at 3 pm as listed on Booking, yet had to wait an hour and a half because it wasn’t ready. The receptionist wouldn’t help with our luggage, so we carried it to the room ourselves along the sloping road. Also, it’s far from Patong.

There are plenty of local and international places to eat within walking distance, and the EDC Thailand venue is only a short walk away. I had an amazing stay at Parida Resort and would recommend it for Phuket or EDC Thailand. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well kept. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and after a long day the shower had great pressure.

We weren’t looking to stay by the beach, and this location worked perfectly for us. Friday night market is a short 500 m walk, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The room was clean and nicely equipped. Breakfast was simple but good, with proper coffee from the adjoining coffee shop. You can rent motorbikes or electric scooters at reception.
