Pearl of Naithon Apartment

The apartments feel past their best: they’re aging, and some are poorly maintained despite the high prices. We had trouble with the air conditioning and basic plumbing, and there was a musty smell like an abandoned tropical house. Outside, the construction never seemed to stop and the traffic was insane, like Manila or another overpopulated place. Kids were constantly yelling by the pool, so enjoying a holiday was impossible. This used to be a nice condo, but the influx of Russian tourists has ruined this place in particular and Phuket in general. It no longer feels like a tropical paradise. We’ll stay somewhere else next time.

There’s no room service for food, and everything nearby, including shops, seems to close by 11 pm. Grab is useful if you get hungry later. The beach is beautiful, and the water is probably the best around, but there’s no infrastructure there, no sunbeds or anything, so it isn’t for anyone wanting a comfortable beach setup. By motorbike, Bang Tao is about 20 minutes downhill, while going north past the airport takes about 30 minutes. These apartments suit people happy to bring their own towels to the beach.

The sea is crystal clear and great for snorkelling, and there’s a fantastic pool too. You’re right on the beach, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. People are really friendly, and there’s plenty to do close by.

Naithon Beach is just 50 meters from Pearl of Naithon, and it’s one of Phuket’s most beautiful, peaceful beaches. The complex is surrounded by tropical greenery, with national park hills on every side. It’s also about a 10-minute drive from Phuket International Airport and 15 minutes from four renowned golf clubs. There are six three-storey buildings with 77 apartments, furnished for a comfortable holiday with all the necessary equipment, high-speed internet, and satellite TV channels from around the world. Shared facilities include a pool with jacuzzi, gym, restaurant, bar, underground parking, sun loungers, and a Thai Sala gazebo. The complex is guarded. Pearl of Naithon lives up to its name as a luxury real estate gem, not only on the island but across the globe.
