The owner is so friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is really nice and clean, with a good atmosphere and lots of friendly people staying there. It feels like a great community :)

The owners are such lovely, talkative people and always ready to help, which made the holiday even nicer. Similan Hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood, away from noisy places, but still near Surin and Bang Tao beaches. This little hotel is clean and well maintained, and they offer a very nice breakfast every day. I'd recommend it without a doubt for a relaxing holiday.

The thin walls were the main drawback. We could hear every conversation outside, and felt a bit self-conscious that people might hear us too, if you know what I mean. Also, the kitchen is locked, so we had to wake the owner at 11 pm to get a plate and knife. She wasn't exactly happy about that. On the plus side, the family restaurant down the road is marvellous, and the owner gave us the number of a local tuk tuk driver who was always available when we called. The beach is a 20-minute walk, so we needed a tuk tuk for each trip. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the host was welcoming and kind. We even got a goodbye present. All in all, a pleasant stay, and I'd recommend the place.

Pascal and her husband are wonderful. She loves animals, and Sí is the Thai Jimmy Hendrix, though he'd never admit it. The rooms were clean and spacious with everything you might need, and breakfast had delicious fresh fruit and coffee. If you're really nice, Pascal might even send her husband out for fresh croissants. Mam's next door makes the best Thai food we've had since arriving, fresh in front of you and at the cheapest price. We've tried plenty, trust me.

The owners were so nice. They took us in for a very late check-in and very early check-out, helped arrange a transfer in the city, and gave us honest tips on what to do and where to go. The room was clean and modern, decorated with great taste and lots of attention to detail, and the bed was comfortable. There's a terrace with a bar, also styled really nicely. You can rent a scooter here for less than other dealers nearby. Laundry is 2 minutes away, and there's a supermarket not far off. Totally recommend it, and thanks again to the owners!
