It's a quiet hotel with very clean, brand-new rooms, and the furniture and bed were in perfect shape. But there isn't much beyond that. No pool or other facilities, and breakfast isn't included. At 800baht a night in high season (December - January), it felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Maybe low-season rates are better. There are two nearby local restaurants with good-priced Thai food, but no market or grocery store close by. You'll need to rent a bike to get around independently, about 200 baht/day. The place is a little isolated, with no taxi stand nearby, and it's a bit over one kilometer from main Bang tao beach. Also, there's no reception after 22:00, and the main door is locked. If you're arriving at night, email them ahead to arrange a key.

It's okay for a short stay, no problems. There are two local restaurants nearby, and with a bike you'll be fine. The place sits between Surin and Bang Tao beach. There's no room service, and my first-floor room had an ugly view.
