I’ve been here three nights so far, with four more to go, and my top-floor room has been great. The bed is comfortable, the AC works well, and nights are fairly quiet. The beach and several restaurants are walkable, and if you’re volunteering at Soi Dog, the bus stop is only a two-minute walk away. Getting in at 10pm was a bit of a hassle. I had to call a number, then waited around 15 minutes because it was busy. Once she picked up, she arrived to let me in within five minutes. One thing to watch out for: the laundry service next door has “lost” my expensive Lululemon leggings.

I spent one night at Vacation Time House and wouldn't stay again. In the middle of the night, I had to switch rooms because they said there'd been a booking mistake and the place was overbooked. They called the move to another hotel an “upgrade,” but the room was worse and the bed very uncomfortable. They had promised free airport transport as compensation, then charged me anyway the next day, saying the boss had decided it. I couldn't do anything about it. Don't book here.

The room is modern, clean, and well located. There’s a table and seat inside and on the balcony, plus a Western-style bathroom with a separate shower. It’s well soundproofed and the air conditioning is great. The room also has a toaster, kettle, cutlery, and plates. They clean daily and provide water, coffee, and tea. Kirk responds quickly to emails and is easy to reach. There’s a 7/11 on the corner toward the beach, and a fresh market across the road four times a week. The beach is about a five-minute walk. So far, so good.

The beach and restaurants are just a short walk away. I stayed at Vacation Time while visiting Naiyang Beach, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, though the beds are very firm. Housekeeping didn't come every day, but we managed.
