We spent about two weeks in Phuket and really enjoyed our stay. The villas are beautiful, spacious, clean, and nicely designed, with everything needed for everyday living. They’re in a quiet area, and the hosts were very welcoming. We especially enjoyed the chef’s meals and having a barbecue near the pool. It was our first time in Phuket, so we really appreciated the hosts’ help with all our questions. They were happy to answer even late in the evening.
Mimi, the Villa manager, is wonderful and very helpful. Grab is easy to get, and there are lots of nice restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. The decor is lovely, and the pools with their night lights are amazing. It’s far from the beach and noisy tourist spots, so it’s a great place for a quiet getaway. There were way too many mosquitoes, maybe because we came during rainy season. The bullfrogs and toads calling to each other at night weren’t pleasant either, so light sleepers beware.
We had a really fun stay here with a few friends in June. The villa is roomy enough for everyone to spread out, and the clean, cozy bedrooms and great pool made it easy to relax. Bangtao beach is beautiful and only about a five-minute drive away. We did get a couple of noise warnings, but the managers were understanding about it.
The outdoor kitchen was a huge plus, and the villa was spacious, clean, and well looked after. Four couples slept comfortably, with large rooms and a pool that gets some shade during the day. It’s fairly deep, so keep an eye on little ones. The main drawback is how far it is from popular attractions, areas, and beaches.
Mimi, the Villa Manager, was a huge help throughout our stay, and the staff were friendly, which made the holiday feel easy and relaxing. We stayed at the Gelosimo Villa, where each bedroom has its own bathroom and air conditioning, plus there’s another toilet in the main house. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had a coffee machine, washing machine, and dishwasher. The kitchen and living room open onto the pool area and front porch through bi-fold doors. That was lovely in the morning over breakfast, before the heat set in, though less appealing in the evening when the mosquitoes came out. The outdoor space has seating, a ceiling fan, a barbecue, and a bar fridge, and the pool was refreshing after a hot, humid day. There’s covered parking for two vehicles. The Jewels Villa is away from city noise but still within driving distance of tourist spots: Baan Teelanka is 20 minutes away, Patong Beach 40 minutes, and the Big Buddha an hour. I’d recommend hiring a car. Driving in Phuket is fairly easy, just watch for scooters. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend the property.
