Villas Aelita Pool Villa Resort

I spent nine days at Aelita. The pool and relaxing area were amazing, just as described, and the shower facilities were great with a clean toilet. There are fire ants around, so dispose of food and sweets properly. If your landlord is James, ask about scooter rentals. I hired one for nine days. Top Aussie bloke!

The villa has its own pool and sits in a small compound with a guard. A few nice restaurants are about 1 km away, and a lovely beach is a 10-minute drive. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport. Getting around is the drawback: nearly everywhere, including the beach, requires a taxi. Phuket taxis are now expensive, at least 300 Baht, around $10, and twice that to travel farther south. Even a one-hour forest zipline costs $100, including for children. European destinations are cheaper, and Phuket is no longer a low-cost holiday spot.

A beautiful villa, just as described, and a really good place for families. We had no problems, and everyone in charge and the service providers were friendly. Just don’t get a taxi or order one from the villas, they’ll charge more because they think you’re loaded. 😂

It’s a beautiful, quiet private villa with three bedrooms and its own pool, tucked away off the beaten path. Simon, the owner, communicated exceptionally well and delivered everything promised. The only reason I gave the rooms a four is that the beds were too firm for my liking.
