For the price, this is a pretty comfortable budget hotel. The room had a fridge, air conditioning, and a hot-water shower.

This place is very old and a long way from town, with no amenities. It’s a monthly hotel, but 4,000 baht a month feels very expensive. Water costs 10 baht per day, electricity is 5 baht per KW, and blankets are another 100 baht a month. I found the owners, who are Thai Chinese, unfriendly and very stingy.

I was really comfortable here, apart from the smell when I first walked in. The room had plenty of space, and even the towels smelled nice. I appreciated that the shampoo and body wash were clearly labeled. Since I’d arrived by bicycle, the staff kindly asked whether I’d prefer the first or second floor.

It’s easy to find, right along the road, but the hotel itself feels old. The bed sags when you lie down and left me with a lot of back pain. The bathroom stays wet because there’s no ventilation fan. I also felt a bit unsafe with the door nearly always open and no staff on duty around the clock.
