It's peaceful here, though still only about a five-minute walk from the main road. The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were friendly. If you've got a car or bike, you can park right outside your room. Robinson lifestyle is roughly a 20-minute walk away, with restaurants, cafes, shops, and a cinema. Bring mosquito repellent, though, there were mosquitoes everywhere.

The room was modern and nice, just right for a short stop in Trang. Getting there on foot late at night felt a little scary in the dark. We also had trouble with the power switch, which kept cutting out. They said they planned to fix it the next day, so I expect that's sorted now.

Once inside, it was clean, well maintained, and quiet, with Robinson lifestyle complex nearby. Finding the entrance was a poor first impression: Google directs you to the back of the resort, where you can't enter.

P'tim and his wife were lovely hosts at this fantastic new resort, in a location that felt just right. Trang is the gateway to Thailand's most beautiful islands, and its cultural food scene and nightlife are well worth exploring.
