Tup Kaek Sunset Beach Resort

We had a very clean room, and the restaurant and cocktail bar staff were lovely. The free kayaking and paddle boarding were nice to have, and the massages came with a beautiful view. I also felt safe using Grabs because the entrance is closed off and staff are always on site at the front to help. I was visiting with my parents for a wedding and meant to book two nights, but ended up staying almost a week. My father had mistakenly booked three nights. When I asked to arrange private transport for an early departure, the front desk pointed out the booking mistake. They could have let it stand, so my family and I really appreciated their honesty and hospitality. The front desk staff were kind throughout. I’d love to stay again. One suggestion: the restaurant menu could be updated, perhaps with daily specials.

We spent five days here and enjoyed everything from the breakfast buffet to kayaking for free and having a drink at the beach restaurant and bar. There are two pools, and you can rent a motorcycle at reception. We also saw lots of butterflies and frogs around the property, seemingly enjoying the place as much as we were. The views, food, rooms, and staff were all wonderful. The staff were some of the loveliest people we met. I’ve seen some bad reviews, and it’s hard for me to understand them. If you arrive with a smile, people smile back. Aonang market is about a 15-minute drive away and is a great place to visit. Thank you for the great service ❤️

The beach and location were just right for unwinding and enjoying nature. I couldn’t have asked for a better stretch of beach. Our first room had a musty smell, so we complained and were moved. Thankfully, the next room was fine. The rooms could use better upkeep. Most of the staff were sweet and nice, though a few interactions didn’t feel welcoming. Maybe some were tired, or just not very interested in welcoming guests. The restaurant could do much better.

It’s a very beautiful, peaceful hotel, though you do hear frogs at night. The staff were polite and helpful. They charged 250 baht for my child’s breakfast, even though she ate no more than one slice of bread a day. They could have reduced the charge or made it free for children under five, since they don’t eat much.
