White Sand Halal House Krabi

The Hong Island boat trip was the best part of our stay. We booked a private boat with Farookh as captain, and he was efficient and a good person. He showed us the most beautiful sunset of our lives. Highly recommend.

There’s parking at the property, and a beach just across the road where you can watch the sunset. It wasn’t that great for swimming. Cafés and a Seven Eleven are reasonably accessible if you have a car or scooter. There’s no lift or pool, and you have to carry your own luggage to the rooms, which are cosy little spaces. I thought the place was a bit overpriced for what it offers. Overall, it was moderate to good.

The place is beachfront and offers good value for the price. Our room had lots of storage, a comfortable bathroom, and a nice little balcony even though it was a basic room. There’s also a pleasant shared terrace. In five weeks of travelling in Thailand, this was the only hotel that gave each adult just one towel. We asked for an extra small towel for our baby and still didn’t get one 🫠. There’s no breakfast, and the hotel is fairly far from everything. The nearest breakfast options seemed questionable.

We had an amazing boat trip to the 4 Island and Hong Island, including sunset. Our captain, Takachi, was very kind and made a real effort to communicate. It was a really enjoyable experience.
