Brique Hotel Chiangmai

The pool became my afternoon routine after conference sessions. I often stayed in for over an hour, with lovely views of the city and sunset, and the gym is right beside it. Breakfast was included each morning and had unlimited Thai and English options. The hot chocolate was a favorite. Wi-Fi was fast, the elevator was clean and needed the room card, and there was paid laundry service. The lobby and shared area felt spacious and pleasant. I was at Brique Hotel for four nights in October 2024 for an academic conference. My Premier Deluxe Room (1 King Bed) for one adult came to about INR 15,500, which felt like good value for the quality. The hotel is roughly 13-14 Kilometres from the airport. We took a van from the airport exit and got there in about 30 minutes. A taxi booked through the Grab app would be more convenient. There are 7-Eleven stores, massage parlours, local markets, cafes, restaurants, and temples nearby. My room was very quiet, which worked well for resting and academic work. It was spotless and well cared for, with a thick, soft, comfortable mattress, neat bedding, two chairs and a table, and air-conditioning that was easy to adjust with a wall remote by the entrance. There was also a small minibar for keeping drinks cool, a compact locker for valuables, and a large TV that turned on automatically when I unlocked the door with the access card. The balcony looked out over the swimming pool and a city pond, a nice place to unwind after conference days. The bathroom was impeccably clean, with no visible water marks. It had small hand and face towels, large bath towels, a 360-degree mirror, good-quality toiletries, a powerful hair dryer, and hot water at all times. Housekeeping came daily. When I asked for fresh bedding, the staff handled it professionally. One housekeeper used an online translator app to communicate, which I appreciated. The staff were kind, polite, and helpful. Reception was welcoming, and patiently pointed me toward nearby places whenever I asked. My only difficulty was finding a proper place to dry washed clothes. This isn't a budget hotel, but I would happily stay again. It seems a good fit for couples, academics, and travelers comfortable spending around INR 4,000 per night who want comfort, cleanliness, and quality service.
