Arista Hotel Ubon

For a one-night business trip, it was decent, no-frills accommodation and worth the price. Staff were courteous and tried their best to meet my needs despite the language barrier. It's a 15-minute drive from Ubon airport and a 10-minute walk to the nearby Big C hypermarket.

There was plenty of space in the room, and the staff were friendly. The mattress is unapologetically hard, so if that's what you like, this may suit you. It wasn't for me. The room was dusty and could have been cleaned better. The porch is large, but I wouldn't open the door because birds were flying in and out all day and there was lots of bird poop. Parking was spacious, with a nice garden out front, and a coffee shop within walking distance.

Breakfast was delicious, and they provided one bottle of water per person each day. The rooms were comfortable, the beds fairly hard but clean, and the air conditioning worked fairly well for how I used it via cell phone. A very nice hotel in Ubon.

The price is very reasonable, especially compared with hotels in larger cities. It's in the city center of Ubonratchathani, with clean rooms and well-provided facilities. Breakfast was nice, with plenty of both Thai and Western options.
