2 Feel Bed Station

The mall is just a two-minute walk away, with 7 elevens and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly, and the room was so clean. It would be comfortable for a long-term stay.

The towels were the best, sun-dried and very absorbent. The air conditioning works, the water pressure is excellent, and a strong bathroom fan gives good ventilation in an otherwise enclosed space. The internet worked well, a relief after three awful stays at nearby places. The facilities are fairly new, and it’s clear the owner cares about the property, though the hotel seems less occupied than others within half a kilometer. There are some frustrating design choices. The balcony door is locked, which could be a fire hazard and possibly illegal. Planks around the mattress at box-spring height are easy to bruise your shins on, and there are no outlets or light switches near the bed. These design and operating decisions may come from a newly minted hotelier who employs family members, which could limit future growth or expansion.

My wife and I stay here whenever we’re in town, and it’s my favorite hotel in Udon. The rooms have a cool layout, with big beds that take up a lot of the space, and the place feels quiet and private. There’s an elevator. In summer, the air conditioning on the higher floors takes a minute to cool the room.

The location is excellent and the staff are friendly. I’d booked here since 2018 whenever I came from Vientiane, Laos for an overnight stay. This latest visit was so bad I won’t book again. There were ants in the room, the bathroom smelled like sewage, and there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste, which was inconvenient. They also charged me an unfair 200B over some dirty towels. It was great value in 2018, but by 2023 the value was awful. 2 feel bed station won’t get my money again.
