Centara Udon

The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including a safe. Bedding was comfortable, with four soft pillows and a semi-soft bed, and a large window brought in natural light. There wasn’t enough lighting in the evening. Check-in was quick, though it felt rushed. We could check in early, which was appreciated after a long journey, and received a coupon for welcome drinks at the bar. We didn’t have time to use the pool or try breakfast, so I can’t comment on either. The traffic at the guest drop-off and pick-up area was poorly managed, which cost it a five-star rating. We were stuck at the entrance every day of our three-night stay because of congestion. Clear signs and enforcement are needed to keep things moving. The security/doorman often seemed more focused on saving parking spaces than moving traffic, and drivers were allowed to linger too long. There should be separate lanes for rideshare or taxis and private cars.

The location is great, next to Central Plaza, around the corner from Bar Street and close to the Bus Terminal. The rooms are ok and the beds comfortable, but the shower had no hot water and the internet was terrible.

Parking is available in the garage deck if you're driving. The hotel sits by Centara mall in Udon Thani and has good rooms, service, breakfast, a regular pool, and a gym. It’s among the more expensive hotels in town.

The staff were really helpful, and Cheers Beer Garden is a nice place to unwind in the early evening, with happy hour running until 20:00. I was there in 2025.12. Centara Udon Hotel is right by a shopping complex with a food park and other things you might need while traveling. There’s also inexpensive local food within walking distance. The hotel feels modern and comfortable, and it’s a short walk from the railway station. Breakfast had what I needed, including perfectly poached eggs they made for me.
