Breakfast was stone cold, and there wasn’t any fresh coffee. The pool seemed open to anyone, with nowhere to sit, no loungers, chairs, or umbrellas. I could hear every motorbike outside and other guests showering and moving around. Mosquitoes came in through cracks, the room smelled of cigarettes, and there was no blanket or pool towel. Next door, fighting roosters crowed day and night, even though I was on the top floor. Honestly, I’d sleep better in the park with the homeless. Stay elsewhere!

The location beside the big park was nice, and the price was reasonable at 1200 a night for two. The pool was large, though I didn’t get to use it. Rooms and breakfast were average, and the hallways felt hot and smelled musty. Fine for one night while driving through, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

We had no problems during our two nights, and would recommend staying here. It’s a large complex right beside Nong Prajak park, with plenty of car parking. Check-in was quick, the staff were nice and helpful, and breakfast was okay. Our room worked well for us: a large bed, cold air conditioning, okay Wi-Fi, and a big bathroom with a powerful shower and hot water. The TV had almost only Thai channels.

At 1200 baht with breakfast, it was okay, but other places in Udon thani offer better value. There was no tea or coffee in the room, and the old-style air conditioning had no remote.
