The staff really made this stay for us. From reception and the person answering the phone to housekeeping and the airport driver, everyone was polite, friendly, and helpful. It felt welcoming, and we’ll remember the stay for that. There’s plenty to do on site, which gives President Hotel a resort feel. The restaurant serves from 7 a.m. until midnight, with room service, so it’s handy when tired travelers arrive at different hours. The menu has a lot of choice, the food is well prepared, breakfast is good, and a one- or two-person band plays in the evenings. The garden is nicely lit at night and has tables and chairs. The pool was clean and not crowded. Our room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked well, and the water pressure was good. There were device connections on both sides of the bed and another by the mirror. A couple of drawbacks: there’s no power point in the bathroom, and the hotel is 3.5 kms from town center, so transport matters. Bolt & Grab are cheap options. It’s near the airport, though, and a comfortable choice if you want to stay away from town. I rarely give a hotel 5 stars, usually 4 or less, but this one earned it.

Not a great first impression for us. Nobody explained the breakfast arrangements or showed us where the breakfast room and bar were. The room was missing the advertised safe, towels, bath robes, slippers, iron and ironing board. They later brought towels and an iron, plus a freestanding safe that could just be carried off, so that wasn’t useful. We also weren’t given a password for the free Internet.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the price felt very reasonable for what was included. The buffet breakfast was much appreciated, as was the free airport pickup and drop-off. Our room had loads of space, a big balcony, and a lovely view out front. There’s also a nice lawn and pool, open until 10 PM, plus a private bar and restaurant that stays open until 2 AM. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Thailand. If you’re going to Udon Thani, it’s worth checking out.

The breakfast was really good, and the staff were excellent. Rooms are a good size with roomy balconies. It’s in a quiet spot close to the airport.

I couldn’t find anything to fault. There’s a lovely pool, snacks around it, and free coffee through the day. They have entertainment every evening, too. Being near the airport means you hear the airforce jets now and then. Still, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
