Thanburi Hotel

The breakfast is very good, with good coffee, and costs only 50 Baht per person if you pay a day ahead. The hotel is low budget and centrally located, with very friendly employees. Agoda has top prices. Rooms are spacious, and the beds are okay, but there’s no safe or water cooker. Most rooms have little daylight because the building was built as an atrium, with windows facing the inner courtyard. The white neon lighting makes that feel worse. There’s an echo on the floors, so the hotel gets noisy. Some rooms look good, while others have a damp wall. They try to fix it but don't paint afterward. The bathroom looks good at first, but there’s mault everywhere, as you can see in the picture. And why can’t most hotels in Thailand keep the toilet clean? It’s really simple. If they fixed the reported problems, I’d give it 4 Stars.

The room was clean, and the shower had hot water with strong pressure. There were a few pieces of gym equipment available too. But outside light kept the room bright at night, and mosquitoes made things uncomfortable. The windows seemed unsafe for children. The bed was too soft, and the bulky pillows weren't ideal. Breakfast was disappointing and not something I'd recommend. It had a few good points, but fell short in several key areas. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2.5 stars).

There’s plenty of parking, including EV charging stations, and the hotel isn’t too far from central Udon Thani, which made it handy for exploring. Breakfast was decent, and the rooms were clean and spacious for the cheap rates. I had a pleasant stay at this 3-star hotel and thought it was fantastic value for money, a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers. My niggles were that the room had no safety box and the towels were quite old.

I wouldn't stay here again. The room's facilities felt outdated, and the stay was nothing like the advertisements. The shower was uncomfortable, with water that kept switching from hot to cold and pressure that varied. There was no hairdryer, which made getting ready quickly inconvenient. The poor-quality shampoo barely lathered and left my hair dry and hard to manage. The facilities and service were well below standard. I hope they upgrade the room amenities and improve the service quality, or attracting returning guests will be difficult. I can't give this place a positive review.
