The staff and owners were some of the kindest, friendliest people I've met, and the location was great. The rooms were comfortable too. I spent more than a year at Udon Mansion and had planned to stay longer, but Thai immigration hasn't let me successfully apply for a one-year visa over the past year. I definitely plan to come back. I've been trying to find an email address so I can apologize for leaving and not returning yet.

For around $9, the two of us got an air-conditioned room. Nothing fancy, but the people were super nice, and it felt like cheap and best. Airport pickup or a ride back there costs 100 baht each way.

The bed was comfortable, and there's plenty of food close by. The nightlife and night markets are about a 10 minute walk, and the location is good. Staff were nice, the Wi-Fi worked well, and there was free coffee. I also found the balcony handy. It wasn't perfectly clean, but for such a cheap hotel, it's okay and I'm not complaining about that.

Comfortable bed and clean room, so it was okay. Check-in took a long time because of a language problem and the booking being through another company. We did get it sorted in the end.
