Korp View House

The setting is lovely, with a beautiful view and lots of nice photo spots. But our experience with the owner was really upsetting. Before deciding to stay, my mother asked the staff whether we could bring our dog, and they said yes. We later heard them tell another family the same thing when they asked about their small dog, which was about the same size as ours. Then, at night, we had trouble with the water heater and called the owner to take a look. She came over, stepped over my mother's head, and switched on the circuit breaker. She then said, “Actually, dogs aren’t allowed. There’s a sign on the window, didn’t you read it?” I admit I hadn’t read the rules, but my family had asked the staff and been told it was okay. If dogs really aren’t allowed, the owner needs to make that clear to her staff and train them better. I also think she could have chosen her words more carefully. You may be wealthy, but we’re customers and deserved to be spoken to respectfully. Nobody likes being spoken to rudely right away. I hope the owner changes her attitude. However stressed you are, a customer is still a customer. For anyone planning to stay, we recommend getting confirmation before booking, wherever you go. Honestly, being spoken to like that was very upsetting.
