The hosts are nice, and the restaurant food is good. The room itself is functional and generally clean, but the bed was painfully hard, like a vampire’s coffin. Even Vietnam has softer beds. A rooster was literally right below my window, and highway traffic could be heard all night. If you sleep deeply and don’t mind a rock-hard bed, it may be okay. Otherwise, it’s rough.

For a competitive price, you get what you need: a cosy private room, your own bathroom, free WiFi, A/C, and plenty of parking. There are food options on site, and even laundry. 7/11 is down the hill, about a 10-minute drive away, with hot food stands in the evening too. Great value for money.
