The air conditioning was really cold, the atmosphere was nice, and the price was great. The place may look a bit old, but I thought the stay was great. The owner was very kind too.

The room was comfortable and convenient for my 10-day daily-rate stay. It was clean and nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed, kettle, fridge, air conditioner, toiletries, and good water pressure. I tend to leave a mess, so I appreciated that the housekeeper would ask each time I went out whether I wanted the room cleaned, and would do it if I left the key with her. Paying downstairs every day was a hassle, since there wasn’t a fixed monthly payment option. I also took off a star because the landlord had agreed to give me 10% off for staying 10 days, but didn’t say anything about it when I left, lol. Still, the price felt like great value, and I was very comfortable there.

I booked because it was close to Ubon Ratchathani University, but the real room was very different from what I expected from the booking. It was old and frightening, and not clean at all. There was dust everywhere, the floor was badly stained, and the bathroom smelled of pipes. The bathroom lights and TV didn’t work, the air conditioner didn’t cool, and the refrigerator was unusable. The bed had a dip in the middle, so I couldn’t sleep. A really bad experience.

The place leaks in several areas, from the bathroom to the balcony, with water dripping even when it isn’t raining. The bed feels too flimsy to sleep on, let alone do anything else. Noise carries through the building so easily that even a sneeze can be heard everywhere. It’s disturbing, and anyone who has trouble sleeping won’t manage here. For this price, the quality of life was terrible. I had to stay the full three months or lose my deposit, so anyone planning a monthly stay should be mentally prepared.
