The owners run a restaurant next door, and we really liked the food there. Our bungalow was comfortable, and the rural setting was peaceful. We stopped for one night before crossing into Laos. A good fit if you want somewhere quiet and simple.

The hosts made our stay at Panna Kalong Resort special. They picked us up, shared fresh fruit from their farm, and took us to the border crossing. We also loved the food at their nearby restaurant. Such kind people, we'd happily recommend it.

We got a lot for the price here. The owner speaks English and was easy to reach on WhatsApp, and he gave us free rides both from the border and to the bus stop for Chang Rai. Breakfast was simple, just coffee, toast and jam, but still welcome. Dinner at his place costs 70-100 THB. The guesthouse is very cozy and clean, and I had a great rest. It's the closest guesthouse to the Laos border.

We had a lovely stay. It's a quiet organic farm surrounded by nature, with a shared space where guests can socialize. The hosts are great, speak Greta English, and offer free rides to the border and bus. There's a nice restaurant on site, and you can use bikes for free.

The hosts were thoughtful and made us a generous vegetarian dinner with no spice at all. It's peaceful here and very close to the Thai border, so it worked well as a one-night stop before our slow boat to Luang Prabang. We chose Nagi of Mekong. Breakfast was basic, bread with jam and butter, fried egg, tea or coffee, but that was fine since we had brought fruit, whole wheat bread and almond butter.
