Seabed Grand Hotel Phuket

We were happy and comfortable during our six days at Seabed hotel. The room was big, and it was always clean and tidy when we came back. It had a safe, refrigerator, and electric kettle. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast team. The pool was very big and clean, and the food was good. The hotel was close to all the places we wanted to visit, about 45 minutes from the airport, with a 7 eleven and Maha Sheeva massage place nearby.

The hotel itself was excellent, but the housekeeping noise cost me sleep. Early in the morning, loud cleaning carts went down the hallway. Staff also left a room door open, setting off a beeping sound that continued for several minutes. They seemed not to notice the noise or the open door. I even wondered if they were wearing headphones while cleaning. I woke up much earlier than planned and lost sleep.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s quality for the price. The place is clean and well kept, the service is friendly, and the in hotel restaurants serve good, authentic food. The location is about 10 minutes from Central mall, but you’ll need a rental car or bike. The larger rooms have comfortable beds and are well worth it for a long stay.

Tee at reception was wonderful. She was always welcoming, came over to chat while we waited for taxis, and took a genuine interest in our trip. She even called on our behalf to help organize our itinerary. When our flight out of Phuket was at 8:00 pm and we wanted to shower and freshen up after checkout following a day in Old Town, she kindly found a solution. We really appreciated it. This was the cleanest, most modern hotel of our 2½-week trip in Thailand. The pool was large, and we loved the breakfast variety and quality. Since we drink a lot of water, we wished there were more than two 500 ml bottles a day or a refill station. Buying water at hotel prices adds up, but it wasn’t a big issue since there’s a 7-Eleven nearby where we could get large bottles. The location suited us well. We didn’t leave enough time to enjoy the pool and activities as much as we could have, but everything we wanted to do was within about a 30-minute drive. Fantastic stay and service, and we’d recommend it to families, couples, and solo travelers.
