The Mangrove By Blu Monkey

The resort is beautifully maintained, and the pool was larger than I expected. Free extras like kayaking were a lovely bonus, especially given how inexpensive the stay was. The staff were kind and ready to help. After check-in, someone showed us around so we could get to know the place, and we were made to feel very welcome. Simply stunning, totally recommended!

The rooms and service were wonderful, and we’d love to return to The Mangrove by Blu Monkey. Our room was very spacious, with a large balcony and a beautifully designed bathroom. The layout was thoughtful and made us comfortable throughout our stay. Every employee we met was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. We were also excited to rent a scooter to explore Phuket, but after picking one up on our first day, we realized the roads were too curvy for our comfort. There was nothing wrong with the scooter; we just didn’t feel confident riding. We told reception we didn’t need a refund when we returned it, then learned at checkout that they hadn’t charged us at all. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket.

There’s lots to do, including a free shuttle to the beach. The resort is surrounded by tropical greenery and birdsong, and its restaurant serves great food with a lovely sea view. The room was large and comfortable for our family, and the staff were welcoming. At night, though, we could hear cars and scooters from the room. A nice place for a great vacation.

You’ll need a Grab or taxi to get into town, but this place is worth it. It’s one of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed in: unbelievably pretty, with lots of cool wildlife. The room was amazing, the AC worked great, and the staff were so sweet and helpful. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
