Hotel KHELLA

The hotel was worth the price and met all our expectations. It’s well placed, about eight minutes from the beach and the Medina, with cafés, restaurants, and shops just outside, many open until 2 at night. The staff were friendly and spoke several languages: English, French, Arabic, both Fusha and Tunisian dialect, and Italian. I spoke with them in Egyptian Arabic. The rooms were comfortable, decorated in traditional Tunisian style, and had plenty of outlets, a fridge, air conditioning, and a heater. Breakfast ran from 07:00 to 10:00 and had something for every taste. We could get up at 07:00 to see sunrise over the sea and come back for coffee. The rooms were clean, the internet worked, and they offered tea in the lobby while we waited to check in. There were books to read there too. The room felt too dark, especially next to the bright bathroom. Also, the Booking price didn’t include state taxes: it showed 35€, but we paid about 158 dinars (46€). Even so, it was still worth the money. I’d highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it 🤗
