TUI BLUE Palm Beach Hammamet

The rooms are a little small and don’t have enough storage, which is my only criticism. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel with lovely food, the best staff and such a welcoming atmosphere.

The food set the tone for a really relaxing week. We got back yesterday, 23.5.26, from Tui Blue Palm Beach Hammamet, and the buffet was clean, nicely presented, and had plenty of choice, including for vegetarians and vegans. Staff kept our glasses topped up. We arrived before our room was ready, but our bags were labelled and stored while we filled out the paperwork and got our Tui Blue wristbands, so we could use the facilities straight away. The room was spotless, with a huge bed, a double walk-in shower, a separate toilet, and a fridge stocked with water. The air conditioning wasn't on yet because it doesn't start until early June, but switching on the fan was enough once the night cooled down. There was plenty of seating inside and out around the bars. The big pool was unheated and chilly at first, though there were lots of sunbeds there and on the smaller beach. We never struggled to get a drink after tipping the staff. All-inclusive drinks were local lager and spirits; premium brands were available at extra cost, apparently because import taxes make them expensive. The local drinks were fine for us. It's a good fit if you're happy to relax at the resort. There's little outside, so getting to shops means taking a taxi. We went to Yasmine Hammamet Medina, about 30 minutes away and 20 dinars by taxi. Agree the fare before getting in, even if reception calls the taxi. The sellers there were very persistent, and we were approached before we were even out of the cab. A firm but polite no, or “LeLe” in Tunisian, worked. Haggle too, since they may ask an extortionate price for a “Genuine Fake” item. A superb week away, with lovely food and drinks, a welcoming team, and a hotel we'd happily return to.

We love this hotel and would definitely come back. My husband and I are staying here from 10th May to 17th May 2026, and our swim-up room has been amazing. The food tastes great, and we haven't found any issues with it. All-inclusive guests can have one free à la carte meal each week. The staff, including the waiters, are friendly and helpful when you need information. The beach is small and partly sandy, and we felt safe swimming in the Mediterranean. There are lots of activities if you want to join in.

We had plenty to keep us busy from morning through the evening, and the evening shows were enjoyable. You could sit back while staff came around to take drink orders. There were always sunbeds available, including at the small beach, which we loved. The speciality restaurant is well worth trying, and the snack bar makes a great lunch option with table service. The buffet was delicious, with much of it cooked where you could watch. Cocktails had a great selection, and the whole place was kept clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and worked hard. We stayed 11 nights and would definitely return to this hidden gem.
