We had a lovely stay, with friendly, attentive staff and a spacious room that opened onto a private terrace even bigger than the room. The room was clean, though it had no kettle, drinks, slippers, or smart TV. Breakfast was enough, and the welcome treats at the entrance were a nice touch. The hotel is also within walking distance of the sights. We struggled to find somewhere for dinner in Kayravanda and nearly went hungry, but the staff helped arrange a meal.

The staff were the best part, everyone was warm and ready to help, and the place had a slightly luxurious feel. Our room was nice but could have been cleaner, so ask for one with a good view. Lunch and dinner were delicious, with lots of choice and generous portions. Breakfast could be improved. At 220dt for a night, the price was okay, though I think they could do more, especially with the tacky-looking New Year decorations. The colourful balloons and birthday decor should go, and something festive that suits the hotel's colours would look more elegant.

The medina is only a 3-5 minute drive away. We found this hotel in Kairuan unexpectedly good, with lovely rooms, great service, and a restaurant where breakfast was perfect. Highly recommended if you're staying in the city.

There’s just one key per room, and it only locks the door from either side. That could leave someone inside unable to get out in a fire. This wasn't thought through. Do better.

The room had no safe, which was the one drawback. Otherwise, it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and both breakfast and Wi-Fi were decent.
