Cap Bon Kélibia Beach Hôtel&Spa

We had a lovely couple of days here. There was plenty of entertainment, the staff were friendly, and the food and drinks had a good range. We especially liked having two outdoor pools and an indoor one, plus lots of little animals around the hotel. Would recommend! 🎉

We spent four nights here and had a wonderful time. The beach was like paradise, and we could always find a sunbed. We also enjoyed the indoor pool. Our room was spacious with a lovely view, and the Wi-Fi worked everywhere. The air conditioning was fine, there was a fridge, and we always had hot water. There was plenty of delicious food with lots of options, and staff kept checking on us. Reception were friendly and helpful, including arranging a taxi into town and exchanging money for me. We left a cash deposit for the beach towels and got it back at checkout. We walked to the Fort, which took about 35 minutes, and the view from there was beautiful.

The sea is amazing, but that was the only good part for me. You have to claim a spot in the morning, and the system doesn’t work: people leave and their places stay empty all day, while there aren’t enough spots on the beach. Everyone ends up packed together like in Sardinia. The food was tasteless and very cheap, including a bread salad I’d never seen before. Service was really bad. I wonder if that’s because most of the tourists are Italian and don’t tip. Never again.

We came hoping to book a stay and enjoy our time, but weren’t even allowed through the door or given the chance to make a booking at Hotel Cap Bon Kelibia. The security guard was rude and unprofessional, and seemed to favor people who offered money. It felt as though bribery was the only way to get in. Treating potential guests this way is unacceptable and reflects badly on the management and the establishment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking fair, respectful service in Kelibia.
