Apart Mahdia

The apartment is well equipped, but there’s hardly any privacy. The neighbors are loud and seem to be fighting all the time, and the kid on the second floor runs around like it’s the Olympics. The sofa is really uncomfortable, too. Also, why doesn’t the bathroom have a bidet? Water splashes all over the bathroom.

The hosts had arranged a transfer from the airport, and even though we landed late at night, it went smoothly. The apartment was ready for us, spotless, and had everything we could need. The beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen, bathroom, and rest of the place all met our European standards. We stayed for three weeks in July, and the terrace was a great spot to relax or have breakfast. It was only a five-minute walk to the beach. We were surprised by how honest and helpful people in Mahdia were, since we’d had different experiences in other Arabic countries. The Boukef family were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, and Hechmi was always there when we called and took great care of us. With the Boukef family and the friends we made in Tunisia, this became one of our best holidays. I’m very detail-oriented and rarely give anything 10/10, but this place deserves it. The apartment was even better than we hoped. Thanks so much for such an amazing stay!
